Tip of the Week Series; “The Best Clothing Fit for Your Body Shape” – 2nd, Pear ShapeWednesday, February 17th, 2010Tip of the Week Series; “The Best Clothing Fit for Your Body Shape” – 2nd, Pear Shape. Smaller on top, wider hips. Choose looks that showcase your slim upper body (sleeveless, plunging neck) and balance your hips. Stay away from tapered jeans with cropped tops. Wear bootcut jeans with a fitted jacket. Dark skirts at the knee or just above with matching tights, tops with a collar or lapels add width to upper body. Myth: cinched waist dress with a full skirt makes my lower half look wider. Not true, it enhances an hour glass figure. Your body type models are Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys, Bee U Tee Full!

4th in the series – The Best Hair Style for your Face Shape, Round Face GirlsFriday, February 5th, 2010Tip of the Day; 4th in the series, hair styles for round face girls. You’re better off with shoulder sweeping hair, hair that stops at the jawline adds width. Volume in the crown and body throughout gives a round face the illusion of length. Long bangs swept to the side gives a more angular shape. A gorgeous example is Malin Akerman in the pic below. |
